ABOUT US
Creating Meaningful Impact
At Community Empowerment Northern Virginia, we strive to make a lasting impression on the communities in need. Founded by Ms. Jacqueline Phan, she has used her personal experience as a hard-working black woman to bring compassion, understanding and empowerment to Northern Virginia. We work closely with local schools, businesses, and organizations to identify and respond to community needs. We are dedicated to creating a better future for all of our communities.

OUR MISSION
What We Believe In
It is easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives due to the state of the world and the events we see surrounding us. Community Empowerment Northern Virginia is here to help, and we believe that positive change in our world is possible when we put our hearts and minds into it. This organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society and deal with them head-on. We've assisted more than 1000 families in our community who have been struggling due to unplanned life events and low-income employment; with events like this taking place every day, our work is far from over. We have set out to aid those in need of support in their varying life situations; we strive to help those around us so they can inevitably support themselves and share that support with those around them.
