WHAT KIND OF ORGANIZATION IS COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT?
We are a 501 3c nonprofit organization in Northern Virginia servicing our area's low-income families, disadvantaged youth, and single parents. We offer various types of assistance to those who are looking for it, from mentoring and rental assistance (CENV CARES) to annual holiday programs that both uplift the spirit of those we help.
WHAT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES ARE AVAILABLE?
We have many opportunities available for those who need to open their hearts to the community they serve. We accept volunteer from all ages and walks of life Anyone younger than 16 has to be accompanied by a parent/guardian that can assist and supervise the child when needed.
HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THE CAUSE?
100% of our donations go right back into our operations, funding programs, and relief efforts under Community Empowerment NV.
